Affordable Security: School Board runs with GNU

School boards are sizable enterprises, spread cross multiple sites over a large geographic area, and while they have the same security needs as a commercial network (and some needs uniquely their own) the ICT budgets for school networks are often far lower. This was the scenario met by Robert Cox in his work with the Pikes Peak Board of Cooperative Educational Services as they sought firewall security, flexible content filtering and subnet quality of service (QoS) solutions for the district's 25 servers and 2000 desktops.
