1. If the blog module is turned on, every registered member will automatically recieve blog space.
2. Sophisticated categorization system which allows creating multiple separate vocabularies of categories. Posts can be cross indexed very easily. :)
3. A sophisticated built in news aggregator and RSS feed. RSS can be syndicated by main page content, individual user blogs or by site wide category terms.
