Jetspeed will run on any web server offering a suitable servlet container and a relational database. We've deployed it with JRun, Jetty, Tomcat and Jini, and backed by PostgreSQL, MySQL, HSQLDb, MS-SQL, Oracle 9i, Sybase and OpenLDAP. Basic servers can be up and running in less than a week. Web Page Design:

It's one thing to have a site that is functionally complete and interactively accurate, but if it isn't pleasant to use, people won't. TCI can show you how to apply principles of Cognitive and Neural Psychology to create a site that takes a step above the rest.

Custom Programming:

Because it's fully modular, Jetspeed fits most needs as is, but if your portal has special requirements, or if you need to migrate or interface legacy systems, we provide custom software engineering drawing on our two decades of industry seasoned and field-proven expertise in object-oriented design (UML). TCI is closely involved with the Jetspeed project; we can do the architecture, design and coding for you or mediate between your own architects and developers and the Jetspeed project.

Although we support the Jakarta project and participate in its development, TCI is not bound to this product by any exclusive arrangement; we don't speak for them, they don't speak for us, and while we do find new applications for this software almost every time we look, if it doesn't fit your needs, we'll be the first to tell you.
