'Spiegel Online has paid $4771 for a slice of Internet history. The venerable Trojan Room Coffee Pot (ret.) will leave the Cambridge home where it has been an Internet fixture since 1992 and will occupy seat of honour at the magazine\'s Hamburg offices and on its Web site. Sources at ac.uk say the now non-functional pot will step down to be replaced by an espresso machine.
